Bryn Radford appointed in national service technician’s role at asecos
16 July 2021
ASECOS HAS just welcomed its newest member to the team as Bryn Radford joins the business in the role of national service technician.

Joining UK and Ireland manager Mark Whiteley and regional sales manager Les Day, Radford’s role will be to provide annual safety inspections, maintenance, repair solutions and equipment updates, duly taking care of the entire asecos product range, which includes over 300 safety storage cabinets.
Radford boasts experience in the health, safety and engineering sectors. This includes ten years as a CBRN instructor for the Ministry of Defence, during which time he completed many training courses (among them the IOSH Managing Safety course).
“Planned maintenance and regular inspection are key to ensuring product reliability,” explained Radford in conversation with Fire Safety Matters. “Our safety storage cabinets are manufactured to the highest standard. To ensure that standard is upheld, annual inspections must be carried out. I’ll be working closely with our team members in Germany to plan and schedule safety inspections, maintenance and repair visits for customers nationwide.”
For many years, the topic of compliant storage of hazardous substances has been regulated by law. The in-house use of appropriate safety technology, such as fire protection cabinets for the storage of hazardous substances, is now firmly established in the marketplace. The primary objective of these units is to prevent serious damage to people and the environment in the event of a fire. A regular inspection regime will ensure that these products are in the best possible condition to ensure protection at all times.
