FIA to assess state of fire industry through 2021 Market Conditions Survey
10 August 2021
THE FIRE Industry Association (FIA) is to carry out a large-scale survey designed to assess the current market conditions within the UK’s specialist fire market. The survey will examine the state of the fire industry from the perspective of all businesses within and provides insight into the current trends when it comes to the levels of skilled/unskilled workers, the employment of apprentices, payment periods and changes in supplier costs.

Further, the Market Conditions Survey represents an excellent opportunity for practitioners to voice their opinions on the issues that matter most to them within the fire industry as a whole.
The FIA is asking businesses working within the fire sector to contribute to the survey as this will form an essential piece of research and also assist in predicting the market trends within the industry.
Once all of the data from the survey has been collected, the responses will then be collated to create a report that will be freely available for all. The results will be anonymised in the report so that practitioners can speak freely.
