BSIA announces new chief executive

THE BRITISH Security Industry Association (BSIA) has appointed Mr Mike Reddington as its new chief executive.
Mike has worked in the security industry for over 25 years. He began his career in electronic engineering before moving into sales and marketing, rising into senior roles for a variety of leading blue chip organisations, such as Honeywell and ADI. Mike holds an MBA from Leeds University.
Chairman of the BSIA, Simon Banks, said, “I am delighted that Mike is joining as chief executive.
“Mike brings his years of experience to the BSIA at an exciting time. His leadership will play an essential role, ensuring the Association continues to be the voice of the private security industry. His priority will be running the Association for the membership to provide the very best value. I’m looking forward to working with Mike to ensure the Industry’s leading security Association delivers on its promises, proudly providing members with a symbol of quality and professionalism.”
Mike will begin his new role at the BSIA on Monday 21 January 2019.
