What Else Events announces collaboration with HSE for SHW Live 2022
06 September 2021
ORGANISER WHAT Else Events has confirmed that both editions of its new Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SHW) Live show taking place next year will be delivered in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
The events will take place on 15-16 February 2022 at Manchester Central and on 28-29 September 2022 at Farnborough International. Both shows are free-to-attend for visitors. In essence, and as previously reported by Fire Safety Matters, SHW Live is reinventing a regional exhibition and conference platform which unites and empowers the safety and health communities via both events.
Experts from the HSE will be on site at both events to offer advice and guidance to delegates. Sarah Newton, chair of the HSE, will deliver a keynote address when the occupational safety and health community is brought together in the North West at Manchester Central. The HSE will also deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD)-accredited seminars at both editions of SHW Live.
Jacinta Atkinson, head of marketing at the HSE, commented: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with SHW Live to help shape the agenda for the shows and reflect the needs of our duty holders, stakeholders and partners alike. We very much look forward to engaging with visitors at the events and providing Best Practice support and guidance focused around raising awareness of our wide range of products and services that meet specific requirements.”
Tim Else, managing director of What Else Events, has described the collaboration with the HSE as a “vital source of information for delegates”.
In conversation with Fire Safety Matters, Else noted: “SHW Live has the support of the sector’s most influential stakeholders alongside commercial backing from a rapidly growing cohort of major safety brands. Our collaboration with the HSE is an exemple of the strength in depth of support we’ve attracted within just three months of launch. This relationship with the HSE ensures that the delegate experience is going to be second to none in terms of CPD, new ideas and inspiration that help to raise standards of safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace.”
