ASFP set to exhibit at UK Construction Week 2023
25 September 2023
THE ASSOCIATION for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the UK’s specialist Trade Association for the passive fire protection sector, will be exhibiting on Stand T600 at UK Construction Week 2023, which runs at the NEC in Birmingham from 3-5 October.

ASFP experts will be on hand to answer passive fire protection-related questions, discuss the latest regulatory developments and explain how the Trade Association’s training courses can assist in demonstrating competency.
Information will be made available on the ASFP’s full range of courses, from classroom training through to the e-Learning platform education programme, which enables learners to study towards the Institution of Fire Engineers Level 2 and Level 3 certificates in passive fire protection.
The ASFP Passive Fire Experience, which is the Trade Association’s virtual reality training facility, will also be on display. This contains a ten-person virtual reality headset system. Visitors will be privy to information on the new ASFP virtual reality training courses.
In essence, the ASFP’s delivery at UK Construction Week 2023 is very much focused on assisting visitors to gain a greater understanding of the essential role played by passive fire protection within today’s built environment. There’s easy access to advice, products, services and Best Practice in relation to ‘built-in’ fire protection.
All those parties involved in construction, fire safety and building maintenance and management – among them facilities managers, contractors, services installers, ‘Responsible Persons’ and designers – will find something of interest.
