Siderise begins manufacturing passive fire protection products in UAE
28 April 2025
SIDERISE – THE specialist designer, manufacturer and supplier of high-performance passive fire protection solutions for building envelopes – has opened a new production facility in Dubai. Given that it’s the company’s first manufacturing site outside of the UK, this marks a key milestone in the Siderise vision to become global market leader.

The new facility has been commissioned in line with Siderise’s existing high operational standards and is currently focused on producing its most popular open state cavity barrier in the region for ventilated cladding systems, namely the RH25-120/90 solution.
This move has allowed the business to significantly reduce lead times from around six weeks to just three-to-five days depending on order quantity, in turn helping to fulfil increasing demand and enabling a more efficient service for customers in the United Arab Emirates and beyond.
Key market
Adam Turk, CEO of Siderise, commented: “The Middle East has been a key market for Siderise since 2008 thanks to its unique mix of innovative high-rise design and an ongoing commitment to high fire safety standards. We opened our Dubai office in 2018 to better support our customers with dedicated technical and site services.”
Turk added: “Investing in the new Siderise Dubai manufacturing and logistics facility is a further demonstration of our determination to position Siderise as the leading brand for external passive fire solutions across the MEIAP region, while bringing our manufacturing much closer to the point of use.”
Significant benefits
Martyn Gillespie, managing director of Siderise (MEIAP), added: “We’re thrilled that the Dubai site is now fully operational and we’ve already seen the huge benefits producing the RH25 barriers locally can have for our project partners, ensuring a continuous supply to keep projects running smoothly.”
Gillespie continued: “The new site has also created four new operational roles within the business and enabled us to promote our senior project and site service engineer, namely Dinesh Sivaramakrishnan, to the role of operations manager, duly reflecting his contribution to the company’s development. We’re looking forward to seeing what opportunities this new role offers for both our business and our customers.”
