Siderise recognised in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work listing for 2025
08 June 2025
PASSIVE FIRE protection systems developer the Siderise Group has been recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the Best Places to Work in 2025. Having consistently gained high scores in all categories that underpin this celebrated annual listing, Siderise’s prestigious accomplishment reinforces the organisation’s continual commitment to nurture a positive workplace culture in line with the organisation’s five core values.

Siderise received outstanding feedback from its global workforce with a 70% response rate (ie 8% higher than standard industry rates). Following on from the company’s inaugural success in the 2024 listing, these latest results clearly demonstrate that Siderise has listened to its colleagues and duly invested in measures designed to maintain high levels of employee well-being.
Powered by WorkL, The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 gathers evidence from a comprehensive survey and seeks to honour and celebrate different sizes of organisations spanning a multitude of industries.
With Siderise listed as part of the Medium Organisations category, members of staff rated the company at 80% or greater in terms of ‘the six steps to workplace engagement’: reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment, well-being, instilling pride and job satisfaction.
Other key highlights include confidence in management being rated at an impressive 82%, which is well above the industry average of 74% (and, indeed, the global average of 76%), with 86% of respondents feeling that they do something worthwhile and 85% asserting their great pride in working for Siderise (while also expressing the firm belief that the company cares for their well-being).
Positive employee experience
Speaking about this tremendous achievement, Mark Hendy (chief Human Resources officer at Siderise) informed Fire Safety Matters: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the Best Places to Work for two years in a row. This accomplishment emphasises the importance we place as an organisation on cultivating a positive employee experience.”
Hendy went on to state: “I would particularly like to thank everyone who took the time to share their views and opinions. Our recognition in this prestigious annual listing not only means so much to us as a business, but also amply demonstrates how well our values – ie customer first, safety matters, integrity in all that we do, respect for each other and striving for betterment – are all deeply embedded within our workplace culture. As such, those values will assist in continuing to shape colleagues’ experiences and well-being long into the future.”
