Adam Turk appointed chair of CPA for third consecutive year
02 May 2026
THE CONSTRUCTION Products Association (CPA) has announced that Adam Turk, CEO of passive fire protection solutions specialist Siderise, will continue in his role as chair of the Association for a third consecutive year.

The CPA is the leading organisation that represents and champions construction product manufacturers and suppliers in the UK. It plays a key role in working with Government and policy-makers to shape effective and evidence-based policies and solutions directly related to construction products. Through its economic, technical and sustainability insights, the CPA plays a pivotal role in supporting its members and advancing the industry.
Turk brings decades of experience within the construction sector to the role and has been a committed supporter of the CPA for nearly 20 years. His leadership and insight have been fundamental to the industry as it navigates new challenges, shifts towards a more integrity-led culture and realigns itself with the more robust regulatory regime now in place.
In extending Turk’s tenure beyond the standard two-year term, the CPA has acknowledged his exceptional contribution and the value of his leadership in navigating the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.
Highly respected
Commenting on the news, Adam Turk stated: “In its role as the umbrella organisation for the construction products sector, the CPA is highly respected for its contribution. It’s an honour for me to have been asked to stay on as chair for another year as the industry faces the triple challenge of a difficult UK market and uncertainty caused by global factors, while also being asked to undertake a significant reform agenda under the Construction Products Regulation and General Safety Requirements proposals.”
Turk concluded: “I will be doing all that I can to ensure a smooth transition through the various obstacles ahead of us.”
Peter Caplehorn, CEO of the CPA, responded: “We are extremely grateful for Adam’s continuing support of our Association and the work we undertake to underpin and embolden this sector. His vast industry experience and considerable energy and enthusiasm are priceless given the fact that the challenges facing us seem to grow in terms of both complexity and severity.”
