Siderise heralds “year of strong progress” in 2025 Sustainability Report

Covering global operations across the two company divisions – namely Siderise Insulation Ltd and Siderise (Special Products) Ltd – the document sets out the issues most material to the business and its stakeholders and aligned to its four Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) pillars: Planet, People, Product and Policy.

Key highlights from the 2025 Sustainability Report include a 26% reduction in Scope 1 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and a 14% reduction in Scope 2 emissions when compared to 2024, while working towards the company’s goal to be ‘Net Zero’ for Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by the end of 2030.

This particular milestone has been achieved through various energy efficiency initiatives, operational improvements and continued investment in lower-carbon technologies across the Siderise Group’s manufacturing and operational sites.

Responsible sourcing

A key milestone in relation to the company’s products is the achievement of BES 6001 Framework Standard for Responsible Sourcing, receiving a ‘Good’ certification for its stone wool product ranges.

The Sustainability Report also details the establishment of a Biodiversity Action Plan at the main manufacturing site in Maesteg, South Wales, as well as delivering product training to 5,643 attendees across all formats during the year and responding to 10,686 technical customer enquiries.

In addition to all of this, Siderise’s acoustic division (ie Siderise Special Products) achieved EcoVadis Gold status, placing it within the Top 5% of more than 100,000 companies across 175-plus countries that have voluntarily undergone the assessment procedure.

The company’s ongoing commitment to creating a positive and people-focused culture also received further external recognition, with Siderise proudly retaining its listing in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, as well as being the only construction products manufacturer included in the inaugural Building Magazine Good Employer Guide 2025.

Steadfast commitment
