Nullifire focuses on supply chain efficiencies by introducing services initiatives

18 May 2022

NULLIFIRE IS ramping up its supply chain activities in a determined bid to bring next generation support to clients looking for a seamless solution in smart passive fire protection.

The CPG (UK) brand is benefiting from a multi-million pound investment including the redevelopment of CPG (UK’s) Wigan manufacturing plant and the launch of a new 16,000 pallet capacity distribution centre in Leicester capable of dispatching up to 450 pallets on a daily basis.

Introduced to drive forward greater service levels, the changes introduced by CPG (UK) will bring significant improvements in Nullifire’s stock availability and logistics and have been developed with a strong emphasis on sustainability and customer experience.

As well as future-proofing its facilities, Nullifire has also invested in its FORS Silver Accredited fleet and technology in a project led by transport manager Adrian Furminger from its Crayford logistics site.

Using its own vehicles has led to Nullifire improving the routing of orders, enabling the business to expand its delivery area to cover outside of the M25 corridor. As a result, 99% of Nullifire’s orders for London and the surrounding area are delivered the next day.

A software package that allows deliveries to be made using handsets with on screen signature capture is also driving forward improvements.

Next steps include the roll-out of tracking services to e-mail or text customers affirming an ETA of their delivery and the extension of Nullifire’s in-house delivery programme to other parts of the country.

In order to reinforce the hallmarks of the brand and its commitment to customer experience, Nullifire has recently launched a campaign entitled ‘It’s All About’ that specifically showcases its credentials when it comes to service, as well as expertise, innovation and protection.

Vital function

Nullifire’s sales director Gary Pullinger told Fire Safety Matters: “Improvements to stock availability and logistics are an important area of our service, which we are putting in the spotlight through the ‘It’s All About’ campaign. As well as exceptional products, Nullifire is very much about outstanding service that’s delivered by talented and committed sales and technical team members who benefit from continuous investment to support them in their roles.”

Fullinger continued: “Passive fire protection is a vital function and Nullifire sets out to deliver complete peace of mind across all elements of the specification process to ensure that a project has been completed correctly. Our ‘It’s All About’ campaign amplifies the different areas in which we operate and how we deliver this complete product and service package to achieve that goal. It sets out the benefits of our single source approach, with support including monthly webinars, Continuing Professional Development seminars and a complete specification and technical service.”

Offering a time proven and trusted solution for almost 50 years to specifiers, designers, facilities manager, contractors and installers, Nullifire’s intumescent and fire stopping solutions have a track record of performance and compliance. They’re tested extensively by third parties and the brand’s in-house technical team and are fully certified for a range of fire protection needs.

Nullifire’s continuous support, both online and on-site, includes initial product training, site solutions, a specification service, on-site technical assistance and inspections. Support is also offered for the longer term when it comes to areas including advice on maintenance schedules and even remedial work on damaged areas.

Nullifire is a CPG (UK) brand along with TREMCO, Flowcrete, illbruck, Dryvit and Nudura. Taken together, these brands cover a wide array of different construction needs and provide a wealth of complex services, support and systems.
