Leadership transition signposted by wireless solutions developer Hyfire
05 February 2024
WIRELESS FIRE systems designer Hyfire has signalled a significant change to the company’s senior leadership team. In a strategic move, Ollie Murray has been appointed to the role of international director, taking over the reins from Tom Crane.
Murray, who joined Hyfire back in March 2021, has been instrumental in driving the company's growth in the UK, initially as a regional sales manager for the South East before progressing to become national sales manager for the South in March 2022 and then head of sales for the UK in April last year.
His extensive experience in the fire sector, which now spans over 11 years, renders Murray the ideal candidate to lead Hyfire into its next chapter of global expansion and development.
In the role, Murray will be responsible for guiding Hyfire’s team across the UK and Italy, along with international partnerships in Norway and South Africa, duly continuing the company’s geographical sales expansion and introducing innovative new wireless products to the market.
Murray’s leadership will be pivotal in maintaining Hyfire’s reputation for quality, reliability and cutting-edge technology in the commercial fire sector.
Future of fire systems
Commenting on his new role, Murray observed: “Having been part of the Hyfire success story in the UK for almost three years now, I’m thrilled to be taking responsibility for the brand’s global success. Wireless is the future of fire systems. We have the products to meet global demand, coupled with a global network of established partners and the best customer support in the sector.”
Tom Crane takes on a new challenge by becoming president of Firetrace, another company within the Halma plc stable. Crane has been working closely with Murray to ensure a smooth and seamless handover.
Reflecting on his time at Hyfire, Crane stated: “It has been an honour to lead such a dedicated and innovative team. As I move on to new challenges, I’m confident that Ollie’s vision and leadership will propel Hyfire to even greater heights. I look forward to seeing the continued success and growth of this remarkable company.”
Commitment to innovation
Hyfire’s commitment to innovation and customer service remains steadfast. The company continues to offer the widest range of commercial standard wireless fire devices in the industry, all of the products within being fully certified and backed by a dedicated partner programme.
All Hyfire products and services are designed to meet the evolving needs of the industry, in turn ensuring safety and compliance with the highest standards.
