Hyfire forms strategic partnership with Netherlands-based Hertek
21 August 2025
AS PART of Hyfire’s geographical expansion and its overall contribution to wireless fire systems adoption, Hertek has now become the company’s most recent strategic partner in the Netherlands (where the latter is a market leader).

The partnership between Hyfire and Hertek is the result of a shared vision for technological innovation, customer focus and market development. What began as a strategic exploration has evolved into a constructive and approachable collaboration in which both parties truly strengthen each other. Within this collaboration, there is a clear understanding: the success of one is inextricably linked to the success of the other.
Commenting on Hyfire’s presence in Europe being expanded, Ollie Murray (international director at the company) said: “As Hyfire continually establishes and grows its brand brand globally, selecting a partner whose own values mirror our own and who shares the desire to move life safety systems forward through the power of technology is an exciting opportunity. Hertek is the perfect fit for our products of today and in the future.”
Tackling a new market
According to Murray, the Netherlands is a market ripe for disruption in the fire safety sector. It’s an exciting opportunity to grow the adoption of wireless fire safety systems, and with the newly cemented partnership with Hertek the push for this innovative technology can only become stronger.
Hertek is the ideal partner for Hyfire as the business has proven time and again how customer-focused operations offering expert knowledge and value added solutions to the market can successfully evolve.
Hyfire’s specialisation in wireless fire detection aligns perfectly with Hertek’s strategy to lead in technological fire safety solutions. While Hyfire focuses on continuous product development and global scale, Hertek brings in-depth knowledge of the Dutch market, regulations and customer needs. This synergy creates a powerful combination of proven technology and local applicability.
Sharing the benefits
Murray commented: “Hertek is a household name in the Dutch market. With Hyfire’s global success, we’re able to share the benefits of wireless technology to installers, consultants and end users.”
Hyfire’s wireless solutions, including the Taurus system, are being introduced in the Netherlands as a complement to Hertek’s existing portfolio of conventional and addressable detection systems. Through integration with the trusted Penta control panel and connection to Hertek Connect, the result is a robust solution that’s easy to implement and causes minimal disruption to building structures. This makes a major difference, notably so in segments like renovation, transformation and commercial construction.
What makes Taurus unique in the Dutch market is the combination of reliability, ease of installation and compliance. The system meets the European CPR standards and Dutch NEN 2535 requirements, with EN 54-13 certification currently in progress.
Additionally, product improvements are actively pursued within the partnership, based on direct customer insights and Dutch regulatory demands.
For Hertek, this partnership strengthens its market position. Through the use of international top-tier technology and the flexibility of wireless solutions, Hertek can serve its customers more quickly and precisely. The fast and disruption-free installation without invasive building work provides additional advantages in projects with tight schedules or complex structural conditions.
Choice for innovation
“For those who already see the benefits in wireless systems, but are yet to experience the power of Hyfire,” concluded Ollie Murray, “our collaboration with Hertek will provide them with the opportunity to experience the power of the Taurus products first-hand.”
The partnership between Hertek and Hyfire is more than just a combination of technologies. It’s a deliberate choice for innovation, flexibility and customer value. Combined, the companies bring proven wireless technology to the Dutch market with a promise: a fast, flexible and reliable fire detection solution.
