Incentive FM secures two-year contract extension with Equiniti Group
11 January 2021
INCENTIVE FM has won a two-year contract extension with Equiniti Group, the provider of complex administration and payment solutions for approximately 70% of the FTSE 100. The contract extension builds on a successful seven-year relationship between the two companies.

Under the terms of the agreement, which is reported to be worth in excess of £4 million per annum, Incentive FM will be delivering a Total Facilities Management solution covering 22 offices. This includes the provision og security, facilities management, centralised Help Desk, reception, housekeeping, M&E, catering and vending, waste management, utility management and project management.
The key locations to be served include a head office hub in Crawley and Worthing plus Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds and the company’s headquarters in central London.
Since the start of the relationship with Equiniti Group back in 2013, Incentive FM has consistently delivered and aligned itself with the latter’s changing client base. Incentive FM was awarded the contract after a tender process where it put forward a commercial model that suited the needs of the Equiniti Group moving forward. This includes a team of over 50 staff with a revised management structure operating across the 400,000 sq ft portfolio.
Michael Burt, Group property and procurement director at the Equiniti Group, said: “Incentive FM has consistently delivered over the past seven years and provided us with 4.5% year-on-year savings which is impressive. Its partnership working ethos, technology offer and a proven ability to deliver exceptional levels of service are all second to none.”
Claire Rumsey, director at Incentive FM, responded: “We’re extremely proud to continue our business partnership with the Equiniti Group for another two years. The team has built on the success demonstrated by an open and transparent relationship held over the past seven years and will continue to provide a flexible service that responds to our client’s ongoing requirements.”
The Howard Centre
Incentive FM has also been appointed to manage the facilities at The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City. Working across an area of 230,000 sq ft, the 18-person Incentive FM team will deliver security, cleaning and washroom services.
Named after Sir Ebenezer Howard *the founder of Welwyn Garden City), The Howard Centre currently ranks 113th nationally out of 4,500 trading locations and provides retail space for 58 units all located under one roof.
Carley Beck, manager of The Howard Centre, stated: “It’s great to have a company as experienced as Incentive FM overseeing our facilities management. We welcome eight million visitors each year and we knew that, to strengthen our customer experience, we had to align the facilities management. The pandemic has hit retail very hard, and how we manage our facilities with a one team ethos coupled with a partnership approach is paramount to the operation.”
Glenn Wilson, director for retail and distribution at Incentive FM, informed Security Matters: ‘Our client portfolio is increasing as we demonstrate our standards in the sector. It’s fantastic to be awarded The Howard Centre contract as we share a lot of business values with the client. Our team is now on site and delivering in Welwyn Garden City.”
The Howard Centre contract was mobilised during October and officially started on 1 November.
