Hochiki Europe celebrates employee excellence at Long Service Awards 2025
16 December 2025
HOCHIKI EUROPE is celebrating the achievements of its dedicated team members as employees from across the business are honoured for reaching significant long service milestones. Managing director Shinsuke Kubo has presented awards to colleagues marking five, ten and 20 years of service, with special recognition reserved for two remarkable employees (namely Janet Smith and Paul Adams) who’ve now worked for the business across the last 25 years.

Long service remains a defining part of Hochiki Europe’s culture, duly reflected in the company’s impressive average employee tenure of 6.89 years, which is well above industry norms. This longevity contributes not only to strong internal culture, but also to a wide breadth of technical, engineering and market expertise that continues to strengthen Hochiki Europe’s position in the fire safety sector.
Across teams including production, engineering, quality, R&D, sales, marketing, finance and customer support, the collective knowledge held by long-serving employees ensures continuity, product reliability and an unwavering commitment to innovation and safety.
Many of this year’s award recipients have played vital roles in major product launches, market expansion initiatives, technology advancements and the ongoing enhancement of customer support operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Commendable dedication
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Shinsuke Kubo congratulated the award recipients. “Our long-serving employees are the backbone of our organisation,” stated Kubo. “Their experience, passion and deep understanding of our technology and our customers enables us to deliver world-class fire safety solutions. I’m incredibly proud of their dedication and honoured to recognise their achievements.”
Reflecting on her 25-year milestone with the business, Janet Smith explained: “What I love most about this industry is knowing that the products we build genuinely save lives. Hochiki Europe has always supported its people, encouraged growth and fostered teamwork. That’s why so many of us stay for so long.”
With a workforce committed to safety, quality and innovation, Hochiki Europe continues to build its success on the foundation of loyalty, expertise and shared purpose: all attributes clearly reflected in this year’s Long Service Awards.
