FirePro celebrates award win

Managing director Tony Hanley (pictured right) said: "FirePro is a progressive fire suppression technology with numerous benefits. Our entry exemplified how a comparatively minor investment saved a potentially significant sum of money, saved fire & rescue resource, NHS patient care services and hospital disruption. This was all avoided when a fire broke out inside a critical healthcare process machine. The fire detection and fire suppression system did precisely what it was intended to do, at precisely the right time. It really is that simple."

Quality & technical manager Peter Blandon (pictured left) added: "I was part of an original product evaluation team that visited the equipment manufacturer in 2010. We came away convinced that the FirePro fire suppression products would offer the market a viable and economic alternative to conventional fire suppression products for certain applications such as the one that we won the award for.
