25 June 2019
FIRE SAFETY Safety North and Health & Safety North are set to return to Manchester this October for the third consecutive year.
The co-located events will take place at EventCity, Manchester on 8-9 October 2019 and attract more than 2,000 delegates. The event – the biggest of its kind in the North of England - will boast 150 exhibitors showcasing all the latest products, innovations and services in the health and safety and fire safety sectors. The impressive exhibitor list includes leading brands such as Toyota Material Handling (UK) Ltd, BSI Group, Southalls, Evac+Chair, Martor UK, Shawcity, Safety Media, GVS, Advanced, Fike, EMS Fire & Security, SSAIB and many more.
There will also be more than 30 hours of CPD accredited content with key sessions focusing on the future of fire safety law post Grenfell, working at height and preventing falls, potential key changes to health and safety legislation and how to ensure your premises are compliant with fire regulations.
Health & Safety North and Fire Safety North are being supported by key industry associations including Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, Health and Safety Executive, NEBOSH, Institute of Fire Safety Managers, Institution of Fire Engineers, the Fire Protection Association and more.
The events are organised by Western Business Exhibitions, part of Nineteen Group, who ran the successful Health & Safety Event, Fire Safety Event, Facilities Event and Security Event at NEC Birmingham in April attracting more than 11,700 delegates.
Nineteen Group director Tim Else commented: “There is no other event in the North of England providing this level of education, debate and networking for professionals whose job involves health and safety and fire safety.
“We have the backing of key industry association, have an unparalleled line up of free educational content and an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in the sector. EventCity is easy to get to and offers free parking for all delegates. So, this an event not to be missed.”
