Western Business Media extends key partnership with Nineteen Group
11 June 2025
WESTERN BUSINESS Media has announced a multi-year extension to its strategic partnership with Nineteen Group, which will see the company’s publications continuing to support the Nineteen Group’s Safety and Security Series.

This new agreement means that Western Business Media will provide ongoing promotional support and extensive show previews for The Security Event, the Health and Safety Event, The Fire Safety Event and The Workplace Event.
For the past six years, Nineteen Group and Western Business Media have worked in partnership to promote these excellent events, which have now become firmly established as the UK’s must-attend trade shows in their respective sectors.
As part of the agreement, Western Business Media publications will be distributed at each of Nineteen Group’s events and provide promotional coverage.
The arrangement is as follows:
*Security Matters remains as the Lead Media Partner for The Security Event
*Fire Safety Matters continues as Lead Media Partner for The Fire Safety Event
*Health and Safety Matters remains as Lead Media Partner for The Health and Safety Event
*PSi and Benchmark continue to be Media Partners of The Security Event and The Fire Safety Event
*Cleaning Matters remains a Media Partner for The Workplace Event
In addition, the Nineteen Group has also signed a multi-year agreement to continue as a key sponsor of Western Business Media’s Safety and Health Excellence Awards, the Fire and Security Matters Awards and the PSi Premier Awards.
Fresh energy and perspective
Nineteen Group director Tristan Norman commented: “This renewed partnership brings a fresh energy and perspective that will directly benefit the communities we serve. By combining our shared history with new ideas and momentum, we’re committed to delivering even greater value, insight and connection for our audiences.”
Western Business Media’s CEO Mark Sennett responded: “We are delighted to further extend our long-standing partnership with the Nineteen Group. The Safety and Security Series is now firmly established as the leading group of trade shows for fire, safety, security and facilities professionals in the UK.”
Sennett added: “When we bought our publications from Nineteen Group in 2019, we always said we would continue to be partners and that has remained the case ever since. We’re proud of our partnership and our history with these events and cannot wait to support them for many more years to come.”
