Siderise Sustainability Report measures progress against ESG targets
14 October 2025
SIDERISE GROUP, the global manufacturer of passive fire protection solutions, has published its latest Sustainability Report, duly outlining the growing company’s progress against its ambitious Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) targets and sharing the robust steps being taken to ensure a safer future for people and the planet.

Covering Siderise’s global operations across its two divisions, the document looks in detail at each of the company’s four ESG strategy pillars: Planet, People, Product and Policy. These pillars were defined by conducting an in-depth assessment to identify the material topics that impact both the business and its stakeholders the most.
Key highlights from the 2024 Sustainability Report include the creation of a detailed decarbonisation plan that sets out the strategic projects and investment required to meet the company’s goal to be ‘Net Zero’ for Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by the end of 2030.
Progress towards this goal has also been supported by numerous site upgrades across the Group, from implementing energy efficiency measures across its UK sites through to fitting the company’s first solar PVs array on the Siderise Innovation Centre in Maesteg, South Wales.
Siderise has also achieved its interim target of 70% of all company vehicles to be electric ahead of schedule.
Other key milestones and initiatives relating to Siderise’s products include the publication of the company’s first Health Product Declaration that covers all firestop and cavity barrier solutions, as well as Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for CW-CB Cavity Barriers, CW-FS Firestops and RV Vertical Open State Cavity Barriers following the 2023 EPD for the RH Horizontal Cavity Barrier.
Further, Siderise has launched a digital supplier screening system, sending out 48 surveys to assess environmental and social risks across its supply chain.
Company culture
The report also highlights Siderise’s ongoing efforts to establish a robust and values-led company culture, which resulted in the company being named one of The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work 2024. Work here has included the attainment of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification at SIL Maesteg, reinforcing the commitment to health, safety and well-being and the appointment of a Learning and Development business manager to drive company targets around training and upskilling.
Siderise has also introduced an enhanced benefits package for all full-time staff, including increased maternity pay, improved annual leave and access to healthcare assistance.
The company has detailed its efforts to ensure a positive social impact in its local communities under a robust Corporate Social Responsibility policy. This includes hosting three community engagement days centred around its headquarters in South Wales.
Central to the mission
Adam Turk, CEO at the Siderise Group, has shared his thoughts on the company’s journey to date.
“Sustainability is not a separate initiative at Siderise,” insisted Turk. “It’s central to our mission to ‘Go Beyond, contributing to safer buildings’. 2024 was a landmark year for our business, despite economic headwinds. This was driven by innovation, strategic expansion and our unwavering commitment to safety, sustainability and putting our customers first.”
Turk added: “Our latest Sustainability Report reflects the dedication of our teams across the globe to build a business that’s safe, responsible and future-focused. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made and excited about the path ahead as we continue to grow with integrity and purpose.”
Sera Turkoglu, ESG manager at Siderise, added: “As a fast-growing global business, ensuring progress against our ESG goals can be challenging, with new sites coming online and increasing global demand for our products. However, by embedding ESG considerations into key business decisions, from how we operate our sites through to how we support our people, we’ve really moved from intention to tangible action. This includes achieving key certifications, upgrading our sites, engaging in training and volunteering time to improve our local communities.”
In conclusion, Turkoglu noted: “I’m proud of the dedication our teams around the world have shown in delivering our targets and cannot wait to see the outcomes of all our collective efforts in the coming years.”
