Global MSC Security Conference 2020 to focus on AI and analytics in surveillance
07 May 2020
GLOBAL MSC Security has opened registrations for the next Global MSC Security Conference and Exhibition. This year, the event will focus on helping Control Room operators to realise the potential of Artificial Intelligence and analytics in video surveillance. The exhibition opens on Monday 9 November, with the conference taking place on the following day, at the Bristol Hotel in central Bristol.
“The rate of innovation in security technology makes it a challenge to fully understand what's available on the market, as well as if and how it should be applied,” explained Derek Maltby, managing director of Global MSC Security. “What’s more, with cameras and systems becoming ever-more feature rich, and with the inclusion of AI and analytics functions often now supplied as standard, many Control Room operators are unaware as to the potential of the tools at their disposal. This year, we will be looking at the latest technologies and trends, providing guidance around what is and isn’t permissible, and particularly so in reference to facial recognition, and focusing on how we can help operators at the coalface of video surveillance to use these systems to their fullest extent.”
With more than 150 senior level attendees including end users, representatives from the law enforcement world, policy-makers, consultants, manufacturers and suppliers, the Global MSC Conference & Exhibition 2020 will be the ideal forum to drive change in the UK's surveillance industry.
Global MSC Security is delighted that Genetec is returning as the headline sponsor for 2020. Kirsty Rankin, marketing manager for the UK and Ireland at Genetec, explained: “Global MSC Security's Conference and Exhibition brings together professionals and practitioners from across the industry. With such a strong delegate list, Genetec has continued to be the headline sponsor for the exhibition across multiple years in order to reach our target audience. We've been able to engage in conversations with high-profile security professionals to discuss the biggest topics facing our industry.”
Joining Genetec in supporting the Global MSC Security Conference and Exhibition 2020 are Synectics, Bosch, 360 Vision Technology, Milestone Systems and the DSSL Group.
