Registration opens for Fire Safety Matters Live Manchester 2025
30 June 2025
WESTERN BUSINESS Media – the publisher of Fire Safety Matters – has now opened the registration process for Fire Safety Matters Live Manchester, the one-day Continuing Professional Development (CPD) conference programme and accompanying exhibition running at Emirates Old Trafford Stadium (the home of Lancashire County Cricket Club) on 1 October.

The Manchester event, for which the Headline Sponsor is Apollo Fire Detectors, includes ten presentations and a Mock Trial orchestrated by Warren Spencer (managing director of Blackhurst Budd Solicitors and a regular guest on the Fire Safety Matters Podcast).
On the day, the subjects to be covered include the changing landscape of fire safety, sustainability, compliance, fire detection systems, the fire risks posed by lithium-ion batteries and aspirating smoke detection systems. Fire safety challenges in sports stadiums will be covered by Paul Brunt MIFSM, fire safety manager at Manchester United FC.
The accompanying exhibition features many of the industry’s leading manufacturers and solution/service providers.
In tandem with Fire Safety Matters Live, the Institute of Fire Safety Managers will be running its Technical Conference, while the National Association of Healthcare Fire Officers is set to deliver another successful Training and Partnership Event.
Doors open at 8.30 am for registration and networking. Registration is free and teas/coffees and lunch will be provided.
