Registration open for The Security Event 2020

19 December 2019

Registration is now open for The Security Event (TSE), which returns to the NEC Birmingham on 28-30 April with a number of exciting new features and boasting an exhibition of more than 150+ leading security brands.

Following the enormous success of the inaugural edition of TSE at the UK security industry’s iconic home, NEC Birmingham, the second edition has rapidly grown in popularity becoming the premier national security event in the UK for the commercial, enterprise and residential markets.

Having doubled in size since the 2019 show and recently selling out of exhibition space for the 2020 show the organisers have released more space to match the continued demand. TSE is set to welcome 150+ leading brands, 65+ of which are new exhibitors to the show including CAME, CCTVDirect, CSL, DOM, Fermax, QED, Panasonic, PAC GDX, Resideo, Traka, Tavcom, Vaion, VCA, Vivotek to name a few.

Loyally supported by the shows founding partners, Anixter, ASSA Abloy, Avigilon, Comelit, Honeywell, Johnson Controls (TYCO), TDSi, Texecom and Videcon, the 2020 edition has received significant backing from the security industry.

The event has the endorsement and support from leading certification and training organisations, namely the NSI, PCPI, ASIS UK Chapter, CTSP and Tavcom Training to mention a few. The conference programme is supported by The Security Institute who will offer CPD hours to attendees of any of the seminars. Visitors will enjoy free access to more than 45 hours of educational content across four  theatres which includes Security in practice, Innovation theatre and the Tavcom Training Theatre. New for 2020, the Installer Theatre, which will offer key safety advice and legal requirements for installing fire and security systems across a range of buildings and environments. The new installer theatre will include key contributions from the National Security Inspectorate – a leading certification body for the security and fire industries.

In addition, TSE will once again play host to the Designing Out Crime Zone in partnership with the Police Crime Prevention Initiatives. Run in association with Secured by Design, Police Digital Security Centre (PDSC), Alarms and Police Crime Police Academy (PCPA), this exciting feature will showcase the latest police techniques to reduce crime and keep local communities safe. It is an unique opportunity to discover best practice and learn about this important national police crime prevention initiative

TSE is uniquely co-located with The Fire Safety Event, The Facilities Event and Health and Safety Event. All this means that The Security Event is the most interactive and informative exhibition in the UK and a must attend for anyone in the security supply chain.
