Finalists announced for 2020 Tackling Economic Crime Awards
21 October 2020
RECOGNISING THE outstanding contributions of industry professionals in dealing with all areas of economic crime, the Tackling Economic Crime Awards (TECAs) are designed to showcase the tremendous efforts of the very best organisations, teams, individuals and initiatives and acknowledges their considerable crime-fighting achievements.
Professor Martin Gill CSyP FSyI, founder of the TECAs (for which Security Matters serves as the Official Media Partner), commented: “Building on the success of the inaugural TECAs in 2019, we’re delighted with the overwhelming response we’ve received for this year’s awards. In 2020, so many practitioners and organisations have had to adjust to deal with new challenges while also coping with existing ones. We’re heartened by the commitment and response that has been shown in terms of the quality of entries received. The Judges’ job in marking the entries against set criteria wasn’t an easy task. All those that have been selected as finalists should feel very honoured.”
