Global HSE Group secures UKCA marking for FD30s fire door range
18 October 2025
GLOBAL HSE Group has successfully achieved UKCA certification for its FD30s range of PAS 24 composite fire doors, which is manufactured to the highest fire safety standards at its Nottingham headquarters. The company has confirmed full compliance with UK legislation and performance standards.

The UKCA marking, which replaced the CE mark in Great Britain on 1 January 2021, is a mandatory standard for external fire door sets. Certification for the Ceasefire Door demonstrates that it has undergone and passed rigorous independent testing at UKAS-accredited laboratories.
Achieving this certification demanded robust product design, meticulous engineering and transparent documentation.
The Ceasefire Door was developed with a primary focus on:
*Fire resistance: providing the required protection time during an emergency
*Smoke control: preventing toxic smoke from spreading between compartments
*Energy efficiency: built-in insulation to optimise thermal performance and sustainability
Additionally, the Ceasefire Doors have recently been renewed in terms of the BM TRADA Q-Mark certification and certified to the PAS 24 security standard, reinforcing their resistance to forced entry techniques and providing enhanced protection against unauthorised access.
This dual certification for both fire safety and security offers a comprehensive solution for a wide range of applications.
Rewarding challenge
Ross Baggaley, production manager at the Global HSE Group, said: “Implementing the UKCA process for the Ceasefire Door has been a rewarding challenge. It required careful co-ordination between design, testing and production, but the outcome is a product that we know meets the very highest fire safety standards.”
Andrew Cooper, managing director of the Global HSE Group, added: “The UKCA certification of our Ceasefire Door is not just a technical achievement. It’s also a reflection of the Global HSE Group’s commitment to safety, quality and customer trust. I want to personally thank Ross and the entire team for their dedication to achieving this certification.”
The Ceasefire Door is now positioned as a fully compliant solution offering clients “unrivalled assurance” in both performance and safety. Every door comes with a Declaration of Performance using NFC tracking, providing complete transparency on its specifications and compliance in line with the golden thread.
