Vox Ignis rebrand kick-starts second decade of growth and innovation

13 January 2025

AUDIO-FOCUSED fire and safety systems developer Vox Ignis has launched its new brand identity as the company enters a second decade of growth and product innovation.

The business was founded back in 2015 by a team of individuals recognised as innovators and harbouring a mission to update the technology, performance and usability of voice alarm, emergency voice communication and assistance alarm systems. Vox Ignis’ approach since then has seen centred on strong and repeated growth.

Indeed, the business has become known around the world for its novel solutions that deliver powerful features in designs that maximise ease of installation while realising reliability and value.

The rebranding arrives at an exciting time for the Vox Ignis team with the launch of two new product ranges and growing export and OEM markets. The rebrand itself reflects the clarity of the company’s approach across all aspects of its work, from its contribution to safety standards through to product innovation and customer service and on again to improved incident and emergency management.

Reflection of core values

Anthony Smith, managing director of Vox Ignis, informed Fire Safety Matters: “I’m delighted to unveil our new branding. The last ten years have been hugely successful or us. Now, 2025 sees us accelerate the sales and promotion of two new systems: the Unicorn Voice PAVA and AssistCallPro, the safety and assistance alarm product.”

Smith continued: “The rebrand is not simply a refresh of our logos. Rather, it genuinely reflects our core values and what our customers repeatedly tell us: that our business and products are easier to deal with and ‘just make sense’.”

The new brand is based around a development of the Vi logo. It retains and simplifies the Vi identity, duly reflecting the company’s long heritage, while also developing it to emphasise the integrated systems approach and sophisticated digital signal and alarm processing and transmission.

The layout and typography are cleaner and modern. The new logo has been used to create wider brand identity, which better communicates Vox Ignis’ distinctive commitment to clarity, both as a company and across its systems offerings.

New strapline

Alongside the new logo, the company has adopted the strapline ‘Amplifying Safety Everywhere’, which reflects its mission to improve occupant and building safety through the design, manufacture and supply of innovative and high-quality voice, audio, alarm and communication systems.

Vox Ignis has launched a new website and updated its core marcomms and technical assets and will transition to the new identity over the coming months.

The new identity will be unveiled at Intersec 2025 (for the Middle East and Asian export markets) and at The Fire Safety Event 2025 for UK and European customers. The 26th Edition of the former runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 14-16 January, while the latter takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 8-10 April (with Fire Safety Matters serving as the Lead Media Partner).

Designed and manufactured in the UK and sold under the Vox Ignis and leading OEM brands worldwide, Vox Ignis’ products amplify the safety of millions of people and buildings on a daily basis.
