Mark Piert appointed in regional sales manager role at Vox Ignis
14 September 2025
VOICE ALARM and emergency communication systems developer Vox Ignis has appointed Mark Piert as the company’s new sales manager for the northern region of the UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Piert’s remit is to grow sales and widen the customer base, in particular by supporting the company’s Unicorn Voice PAVA solution, the Lexicomm emergency voice communication (EVC) system and the AssistCallPro safety alarms in addition to the InEvac lockdown systems.
Liverpool-based Piert is well known in the fire industry having spent nearly three decades operating in engineering and sales roles for many well-known manufacturers, while in parallel developing a significant level of expertise in the sphere of new fire technology solutions.
Jeremy Kirkup, sales director at Vox Ignis, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark to the company. He has vast experience and has already fitted in well. We’re growing quickly with sales across our portfolio, notably so for our Unicorn Voice integrated PAVA and EVC system. With new products in our safety alarm portfolio now very close to being launched, coupled with growing demand for our lockdown solutions, these are exciting times for everyone who works with Vox Ignis.”
Speaking about his new role, Piert informed Fire Safety Matters: “I’m delighted to join Vox Ignis. I’ve known of the business for many years now and it’s a real privilege to be working for what is a thriving and independent UK manufacturer at the next stage in its growth. The current product portfolio at the business is very well regarded and requested, as well as being firmly embraced by customers and the wider market. I fully expect the new products to follow a similar path.”
Designed and manufactured here in the UK and sold under the Vox Ignis and leading OEM brands worldwide, the company’s products amplify the safety of millions of people and buildings every day.
