Hochiki to preview new emergency lighting product at Intersec 2023
20 December 2022
INTERSEC OPENS its doors in mid-January and Hochiki Middle East, itself part of the Hochiki Group, will be affording visitors to the event a preview of the new FIREscape Nepto emergency lighting system.

Ahead of the new system’s launch, visitors to the show who are looking to upgrade or install emergency lighting products can benefit from a preview of this environmentally friendly, feature-rich, cost-effective and compliant emergency lighting system.
Moving away from bulkheads and central battery systems, Hochiki Middle East’s offer is based around an addressable emergency lighting control panel with intelligent self-contained LED luminaires and exit signage connected via screened, extra-low voltage (ie 40 V) cabling.
The whole system is networkable, fully self-monitored and self-testing with a central point of control, with the added benefit of cloud-based interrogation and reporting functionality. Alongside integral batteries and a ten-year lifespan, these features render installation and maintenance of the FIREscape Nepto system both quick and easy.
Control and indication system
The Hochiki Middle East team will also be on hand to demonstrate the Latitude system. With huge investments made in the R&D of this product, a process itself led by customer insight, Latitude combines the very latest in hardware and software and is the company’s flagship control and indication system.
Latitude can operate anywhere in the world, in multiple languages and across all manner of applications – from schools and hospitals through to offices playing host to thousands of workers, apartment blocks, entertainment venues, cultural and commercial spaces as well as international travel ports, manufacturing warehouses and logistics hubs.
The system has been designed to be simple to configure and easy to use by anyone, making effective use of touchscreen technology with a graphical user interface to help display vital information. It’s EN approved and recently DBI certified for the Danish market following EN 54 Part 13 approval.
Evolving market
Commenting on Intersec 2023, Hochiki Middle East sales manager Shahab Anjam said: “We’re really excited to be attending Intersec 2023 and to demonstrate these life safety products to our customers. The Middle East life safety market is rapidly evolving.”
Intersec runs at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 17-19 January 2023. Head to Stand 4-B22 to speak with members of the Hochiki team.
