FireAngel initiative drives ongoing dedication to sustainability
13 February 2026
FIREANGEL, THE developer of fire and carbon monoxide safety technology, is driving its ongoing dedication to sustainability throughout 2026 with a tree planting initiative that forms one element of its partnership with UK Fire and Rescue Services.

The company has launched a tree planting initiative that aligns environmental action with its ongoing work designed to protect communities. The programme is already delivering meaningful environmental benefits and has witnessed upwards of 1,160 trees being planted, duly reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to sustainability, responsible business practices and its contribution to a greener future for all.
In practice, the tree planting initiative helps to support biodiversity, fight climate change through carbon reduction and create local jobs and development projects within communities for a sustainable source of income.
Tangible benefits
The initiative delivers tangible environmental and social benefits. By planting native trees in carefully selected locations in the UK, the programme helps to restore natural ecosystems, supports local biodiversity and enhances community well-being. Beyond creating greener spaces, the initiative contributes towards carbon absorption, making a measurable impact on climate action and aligning with global sustainability goals.
Each tree planted is part of a long-term strategy designed to protect and nurture the land, ensuring that the benefits extend well into the future. Through this initiative, FireAngel is translating its commitment to responsible business practices into concrete action, fostering a healthier environment and a greener future for communities right across the UK.
Positive impact
As the programme continues into 2026, FireAngel looks forward to expanding its contribution and delivering even greater positive environmental impact alongside its ongoing work with Fire and Rescue Services.
Daniel Tweddle, national account manager at FireAngel, explained: “This initiative reflects the importance FireAngel places on its environmental responsibility as a business. While fire safety is at the company’s core, FireAngel is also wholly committed to making choices and carrying out actions today that support a more sustainable and greener future for the next generations.”
Tweddle added: “FireAngel is proud to extend its impact beyond safety products and make a real difference for the environment.”
