CHAS appoints Anna Shillitoe and Michelle Lee in latest phase of strategic growth programme
30 October 2020
SUPPLY CHAIN risk management specialist CHAS has strengthened its quality and compliance expertise with the appointment of Anna Shillitoe as quality and compliance manager. In addition, Michelle Lee has been appointed to the role of channel and franchise manager.
Shillitoe (pictured) brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in quality and compliance to CHAS having spent 14 years in senior roles at two leading educational institutions. From 2012 to this year, Shillitoe was the continuous improvement manager at the London Business School where she identified, developed and maintained Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) across the business. Shillitoe was responsible for analysing the SOPs’ performance and led improvements to processes and systems which resulted in improved customer feedback and quality and a reduction in time and costs.
Prior to this, Shillitoe worked at City & Guilds where she was responsible for the Group meeting ISO 9001 and Investors in People standards. This included ensuring the quality system was understood and implemented throughout City & Guilds, recruiting and managing internal audit teams, hosting third party audits and the continuation of the group's accreditation.
Michelle Lee brings in-depth market insight to the role of channel and franchise manager having previously held the position of membership engagement manager at the National Federation of Builders where she was responsible for all aspects of membership management including support and retention, new business development, reporting, event planning and line management.
Prior to this, Lee – who’s studying part-time for an MBA – was the customer relationship manager at McCarthy & Stone and has also worked at Jones Homes, Howdens Joinery and The Casey Group of Companies.
Lee’s role at CHAS will be to lead and co-ordinate the strategic and tactical development of the channel and franchise strategy with a focus on extending CHAS’ reach such that it can effectively compete in a fast-changing market.
