White Paper from ROCKWOOL offers Best Practice advice on flat roofs
15 February 2022
WITH ROOFS maintaining their prominent role in contemporary building design, ROCKWOOL has issued a White Paper offering Best Practice advice on managing fire risk when it comes to planning and installing flat roofs.

Entitled ‘Flat Roofs: Managing Fire Risk in the Fifth Façade’, the White Paper addresses misconceptions around existing legislation, testing protocols and why non-combustible insulation is a safe material choice.
The White Paper examines the rise in roof fires and the resulting social and economic impact. In addition, the document provides expert advice on how to navigate regulation compliance and the differences between BROOF (t4) and Euroclass fire classification ratings.
There’s also Best Practice guidance on future-proofing building performance.
As the role of the roof continues to evolve, it’s becoming increasingly important to consider the long-term compliance of flat roof systems. This new White Paper from ROCKWOOL provides technically-led guidance on how non-combustible insulation can mitigate fire risk in roofs.
