REACH Black range added to REACH Wireless family by Apollo Fire Detectors

REACH Wireless also allows an already existing fire system to be extended by bridging wireless devices to the wireless loop using the REACH Apollo Loop Interface.

Since a new fire loop is not required to seamlessly extend an existing loop, REACH Wireless reduces the overall cost and effort needed to add an additional loop card or panel.

By adding black detectors to the range, Apollo increases the versatility of REACH as the additions are perfect for exposed or black ceilings in industrial-themed commercial spaces.

Trio of detector types

REACH Black is being released with three detector types: Optical with a dual-optical chamber, Heat with a selectable A1R and BS mode and a multi-sensor combining the dual-optical chamber with an A1R heat sensor. All of this comes in a device that’s only 110 mm wide and 70 mm deep.

Audio visual additions include a sounder or sounder VAD base. The new VAD base offers up to a C-3-15 coverage with the white flash and C-3-10 with the red flash version, while both have the ability to operate in standalone mode or in conjunction with any of the listed detectors.

This hybrid solution affords installers and end users flexibility of application by combining REACH Wireless and any Apollo wired system, delivering reliability of performance for the life of the system and a practical process for setting up the system using a simple, yet powerful survey tool and a wide range of products.
