FFE acquires LAN Control Systems Ltd
26 September 2018
GLOBAL DESIGN and world-class detection products manufacturer, FFE, has acquired fire compliance and software company, LAN Control Systems Ltd (LCS). The deal will see FFE strengthening its position in the fire safety, innovation and compliance field.
Led by its founder Adam Welton, LCS, a small company based in Nottingham UK, will be joining forces with Hitchin based FFE and will work collaboratively to accelerate the growth of the business.
LCS, provides an innovative cloud based system, ‘Nimbus’, to monitor fire systems and to enable facility managers and maintenance companies to manage compliance. The solution eliminates the need to manually monitor the systems, giving facilities managers control wherever they are. Users are able to access Nimbus through any desktop or mobile internet connection.
Furthermore, the diversity in the application of LCS’s uses, including I.P., Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Building Management Systems, Cloud Hosting and Mobile Phone Apps ensures that there is room for growth.
Oliver Burstall, managing director of FFE said of the deal: ‘I am delighted to announce that FEE completed the acquisition of LCS. I am particularly excited by the opportunities presented by LCS to grow its recurring revenue base, and to stretch its offering into other connected building spaces.”
