C-TEC md Andrew Foster standing for FIA Council and Board

ANDREW FOSTER, managing director of Wigan-based fire alarm and fire detection systems developer C-TEC, is standing for re-election to the Fire Industry Association’s Fire Detection and Alarm Council and also for election to the Trade Association’s Board.

Foster began his career as an electrical engineer before founding C-TEC in 1981.
Passionate about R&D, UK manufacturing and creating new innovations designed to enhance fire safety, Foster is keen to share his vast technical and practical knowledge to assist the FIA in raising standards and shaping the future of the industry.
The voting process opens on 6 October.
C-TEC focuses on open protocol fire detection and fire alarm system solutions for commercial and residential buildings. In addition to fire systems, the company also designs and manufactures call systems, disabled refuge systems and hearing loop systems.
