Site Manager allows complete control of fire safety in buildings
26 February 2023
SITE MANAGER, which is powered by InSite, is an innovative cloud-based software that allows the end user to remotely monitor the real-time status of all Fireco door retainers and closers.

Site Manager creates a golden thread of information straight from the smart phone or computer, enabling the end user to supervise all buildings from one place. They are able to view door location, battery levels, signal strength, serial numbers, installation and inspection dates, user guides and maintenance advice.
There are no software installations required or complicated network settings to manage. Simply install the ProHub system controller and connect it to the Internet, whereby it will then report system functionality straight through to the chosen Internet device.
Site Manager also offers the mass notification system, designated the Digital Messaging Service, which allows end users to receive instant updates in the event of a fire. Subscribers can be notified by WhatsApp, text, voice call and e-mail in order to receive bespoke alerts on alarm activation, evacuation instructions and when it is safe to return to the premises.
New InSite app
Fireco has also introduced the new InSite app to extend the user experience of Site Manager, alerting users of fire alarms directly on their mobile devices and smart watches. The app gives the choice of a sound or vibration alert and stores a history of previous building management system notifications.
The end user can also choose which sites they would like to be notified about. Extended functionality includes a lockdown feature for releasing Fireco’s Dorgard and Freedor products, allowing the doors to close and engage with their locking devices.
Also included in the InSite app is the new Roll Call feature, which allows the user to digitise fire safety evacuations and receive live updates on the whereabouts of building occupants.
