STI focuses on false fire alarm prevention at The Fire Safety Event 2023
19 February 2023
SAFETY TECHNOLOGY International Ltd – the specialist manufacturer of a wide range of fire, safety and security products that help to prevent unwanted fire alarms, deter theft and minimise potential damage to critically important safety equipment – is exhibiting at The Fire Safety Event, which runs from 25-27 April at the NEC in Birmingham.

The Worcestershire-based business, which is headquartered in Michigan, is wholly focused on preventing false fire alarms, theft and vandalism through the provision of innovative solution-based protection products. Its cages, covers, alarms and custom buttons are to be found in commercial and industrial applications across the globe.
For use in the fire and life safety sectors, STI designs and develops Call Point protectors, door alarms, extinguisher alarms, smoke detector guards, fire control panel cabinets, key boxes and sounder/strobe beacon covers and enclosures.
The Stopper, itself a protective cover, helps to prevent false fire alarms or damage to vulnerable Call Points and switches housed in hazardous environments. The tough polycarbonate can take the severest of knocks, while the audible battery alarm acts as an effective deterrent, drawing immediate attention to the area and preventing misuse.
The Exit Stopper from STI monitors the unauthorised use of emergency fire exit doors, while the Extinguisher Stopper is a cost-effective way in which to prevent extinguishers from being stolen. Other products include heavy-duty cages or polycarbonate protectors for critically important smoke detectors.
STI will be exhibiting its myriad solutions on Stand 3a/H54 at the NEC.
