Bespoke PEEPs training programmes now available from Triple A Solutions
07 February 2022
ESSENTIAL BUILDING evacuation training accredited by the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) is now available through Triple A Solutions, the fire safety and buildings usage specialist focused on Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) and fire risk assessments.

The emphasis in 2022 is undoubtedly going to be on the competence of those involved in the management of buildings, whether in terms of fire safety or the wider aspects of building safety.
The involvement of the Health and Safety Executive as the home of the new Building Safety Regulator and the Chief Inspector of Buildings will raise the levels of scrutiny in relation to all activities associated with building safety, including the legal requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 in which the sole responsibility for compliance rests on the ‘Responsible Person’.
Many ‘Responsible Persons’, though, are still failing to recognise that this is a personal responsibility rather than an organisational one and that, in the event of injuries or fatalities and proven non-compliance, they could be given a custodial sentence.
Legal requirement
Article 21 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order requires the ‘Responsible Person’ to ensure that employees are given training prior to undertaking a new activity.
Triple A Solutions’ ESSENTIAL training delivers this legal requirement for any employees involved in the development and preparation of PEEPs. Completion of the courses by employees will help to provide evidence of due diligence by the ‘Responsible Person’.
Currently, there are three courses available on the Triple A Solutions e-Learning platform. Participants have the advantage of undertaking training at their own pace and time. The ESSENTIAL Plus training package affords participants access to the platform for 12 months, allowing for regular updates as new legislation, regulations and guidance is published as well as the addition of further information in key areas.
ESSENTIAL Plus participants also have the advantage of being able to undertake the two Triple A Solutions accredited short courses at no additional cost in addition to a license to use Triple A Solutions fillable-form templates.
In each course, the modules are mandatory and must be completed before moving on to the next module.
