Jactone partners with FLAIM Systems to offer immersive VR learning

Working in partnership with FLAIM Systems, Jactone is now offering the FLAIM Extinguisher, itself a fully immersive virtual reality-based learning solution for fire safety training. End users can learn how to fight fires in safe, realistic and dynamic virtual environments.

Training with the FLAIM Extinguisher allows those same end users to experience a simulated fire in a controlled and safe environment, in turn significantly reducing the risk of injury or damage to property.

Users can learn and practice how to deploy a fire extinguisher and put out a fire effectively, with 65-plus industry-specific scenarios included in the training package. There’s the opportunity to conduct contextualised training and engage learners with real-world fires in places they recognise.

By choosing virtual reality as the platform on which to conduct bespoke training, the host organisation eliminates the need to set up a real fire, which can be expensive and time-consuming. There will be np weather or environmental concerns.

Through the platform of virtual reality, the training can be repeated as often as is necessary and users assisted in identifying and correcting mistakes. Further, virtual reality means that users are also more likely to remember what they have learned, which can them help them to respond far more effectively should a real-life emergency arise.
