Global Safety Systems Group acquires fire detection solutions manufacturer NIBBLE

NIBBLE is renowned in Europe and further afield for its in-house R&D arm. Its highly experienced R&D team members will bring additional specialist technical expertise into the Global Safety Systems Group and enhance its ability to develop cutting-edge fire detection and security solutions.

For its part, NIBBLE manufactures a complete portfolio of fire and security systems, including wired and wireless addressable systems, complemented by a range of conventional products.

Analogue addressable fire systems on offer from NIBBLE, which is headquartered in Portugal, include panels, detectors, bases and isolators and also manual Call Points.

Partnerships with customers

The Global Safety Systems Group works in close partnership with its customers, duly delivering innovative, high quality and intuitive fire safety systems and emergency lighting solutions.

Based out of the organisation’s new 9,000 m² European manufacturing facility located in the Algarve region of Portugal, companies operating with the Group design, manufacture and export an extensive range of fire detection and emergency lighting systems and solutions for customers in more than 90 countries around the world.

The Global Safety Systems Group was formed after inward investment into Global Fire Equipment courtesy of Crest Capital Partners, an investment group based in Portugal, which acquired the shares of two of the previous partners in Global Fire Equipment SA, thereby creating a growth dynamic that has been fuelling the Group’s expansion.
