Global Fire Equipment set for debut appearance at Fire India
11 September 2023
GLOBAL FIRE Equipment (GFE) has been trading across the Indian Ocean region for many years now, but the company is set to exhibit at Fire India for the first time when the event takes place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai from 5-7 October.

On Stand D39, GFE will be demonstrating OWL, the company’s new advanced ‘plug-and-play’ fire alarm management and remote monitoring software that facilitates simple and intuitive management of the CHAMELEON protocol-supported range of intelligent fire alarm control panels.
OWL allows remote users to monitor the status of their fire alarm panels and receive real-time information and complete visibility of their entire fire detection and alarm system.
Alongside showcasing OWL and its latest product portfolio of advanced addressable fire alarm control panels, detectors, sounders, visual alarm devices and Manual Call Points, the European manufacturer of complete fire safety systems will also be highlighting the importance of EN 54 certification for fire detection and alarm products.
Visitors to Stand D39 will be able to talk to GFE’s experts about the importance of accreditation and following the right route to EN 54 certification. Visitors will also learn about the benefits of working with a complete systems provider that has EN 54-13:2017+A1:2019 approval.
GFE has enjoyed a presence in India for many years and is an active member of both the Fire Industry Association and the Fire and Security Association of India.
Commenting on the company’s plans for Fire India 2023, Paul Pope (Group business development director at GFE) observed: “India is a strategically important market for GFE. We are continuing to invest in growing our business in the country. Fire India is a key date in the industry’s calendar and we’re delighted to be exhibiting at the show for the first time. We look forward to welcoming current and future customers to our stand and updating them on our latest products, our projects in India and future plans.”
