GFE showcases latest fire safety innovations at The Fire Safety Event 2023

21 February 2023

FIRE SAFETY systems developer Global Fire Equipment (GFE) will showcase the latest additions to its fire safety product portfolio on Stand 3A/C10 at The Fire Safety Event 2023, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 25-27 April.

Visitors to GFE’s stand will be able to find out about the manufacturer’s range of advanced addressable fire alarm control panels and can talk to GFE’s specialists around the benefits of working with a complete systems provider boasting EN 54-13:2017+A1:2019 approval.

GFE will also be showcasing the latest product innovations across its detectors, emergency lighting solutions and graphical fire alarm monitoring, control and communications software. Among the products on display will be GFE’s new FALCON conventional control panel (pictured) and the FALCON EX conventional extinguishing control panel, as well as the new ZEOS detector range (pictured, right) featuring smart addressing.

Commenting on the company’s plans for The Fire Safety Event, Paul Pope (Group business development director at GFE) said: “The Fire Safety Event is a must-attend show in the UK fire safety industry’s calendar. We are delighted that we’ll once again have a strong presence at the NEC as the UK remains a key region for GFE.”

Pope continued: “We have sustained impressive growth over the last decade, including double-digit growth during the COVID-19 pandemic, and sales in the UK have accounted for a significant share of this growth. We are confident that we will continue to further increase our market share in the coming years.”

In addition, Pope informed Fire Safety Matters: “It’s an exciting time for GFE and our customers as we have not long since opened our new manufacturing facility in the Algarve region of Portugal. Our new €7.5 million facility is more than double the size of GFE’s previous plant and affords us plenty of scope for further expansion should this be required. The new facility will play a vital role in allowing us to deliver high quality and affordable fire safety systems to both our UK and global distributors and end customers.”
