FPA Seminar - Building a safer future

05 February 2019

THE FIRE Protection Association (FPA) is set to run a seminar on 27 February, which will feature leading experts who will discuss the government's implementation plan to the Hackitt Review and how safety standards and regulations are changing in the wake of Grenfell.

Delegates will discover implications for industry, stakeholders, and residents of tall buildings, and how different agencies can work together to improve and promote fire safety. The seminar takes place at the Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire on 27 February 2019.

The government's response to Dame Judith's recommendations, “Building a Safer Future”, was released in December and confirmed that a ‘stronger and more effective regulatory framework’ is required which ‘commits the government to a programme of reform over the coming years’.
