Euralarm signposts webinar on fire protection for lithium-ion batteries
12 October 2022
EURALARM’S GUIDANCE document on integrated fire protection solutions for lithium-ion batteries is the subject matter for an upcoming webinar on Thursday 20 October at 3.00 pm.

The Euralarm guidelines on integrated fire protection solutions for lithium-ion batteries were published earlier this year and provide information on the issues related to the use of lithium-ion batteries, how fires can start in such batteries and on how they may be detected, controlled, suppressed and extinguished.
Further, Euralarm’s document outlines guidance on post-fire management. Excluded from its scope are explosion and ventilation-related issues.
The document is intended as guidance for all professionals dealing with fire safety, fire protection, extinguishing and fire suppression in connection with the use, storage or transport of lithium-ion batteries and their fire risks. Aspects of consumer products are not covered in this guidance.
*The webinar requires pre-registration. Pre-registrations must be completed by close of business on Wednesday 19 October 2022. Register online
