Critical alert and communication solutions from CST on show at the NEC
20 February 2023
AS A business, Call Systems Technology (CST) paves the way for innovative communication and critical alert solutions. Trusted experts for over 25 years now, CST delivers “pioneering and robust” on-site solutions including wireless Call Points, critical alert/fire alarm messaging, call button solutions, paging systems, two-way radios and the Gen2 messaging and alarm monitoring software.

Working directly with end users and via a reseller partner network that stretches across the globe, CST boasts system installations at over 20,000 sites, supplies 20 European resellers and enjoys an active presence in over 40 countries. CST even has its own dedicated OFCOM frequency licence.
CST’s solutions are not just industry tested, but importantly they’re also industry approved. The company’s focus is all about helping clients in the fire, safety and security sectors to improve their communications and maximise productivity within the organisation. One of the key goals is to increase safety and protect productivity on site by improving responsiveness to emergencies and reducing unnecessary evacuations.
AlarmCall, for example, is a critical alert solution designed to enhance responsiveness to emergencies and cut down on false alarms. In operation, it sends location-based alerts to pagers, two-way radios and mobile phones, allowing the end user organisation to prioritise real emergencies and investigate and manage false alarms in order to prevent unnecessary evacuations.
AlarmCall is used and trusted by household names all over the UK, among them ASDA, Ocado and Amazon.
For its part, Gen2 is the hub of all communication, connecting numerous devices and alarms. End users can pre-set or formulate messages using the QWERTY keyboard and communicate critical events and data to any endpoint.
Gen2 can send recurring messages and prompts such as maintenance reminders as well as one-time instant messages. It actively routes alerts to individuals or entire groups via different connections. As events escalate, so can the scope of the recipient list. Whether it’s a status update or a life safety alert, the host organisation can be confident the right people will receive the right information.
At The Fire Safety Event 2023, which runs from 25-27 April at the NEC in Birmingham, representatives from Call Systems Technology will be present on Stand 3a/E59 and ready to discuss fire alarm messaging in addition to wireless Call Point solutions.
