Jactone’s fire extinguishers receive BS EN 3 Kitemark certification
07 May 2024
FOLLOWING ON from recent testing of its new fire extinguishers, Jactone Products has announced that they’ve received updated BS EN 3 Kitemark certification.

The certification coincided with The Fire Safety Event 2024 at the NEC, where the British Standards Institution (BSI) presented Jactone with an updated BSI Kitemark certificate for the new fire extinguishers. Compliance manager Dave Belfort proudly accepted the new certification on behalf of the company.
The 6-litre and 9-litre models are testament to Jactone’s continued investment in high-quality product certifications. The business is partnering with FIREBLOCK International on these extinguishers.
Speaking at the NEC, Jactone’s managing director Craig Halford commented: “Jactone is delighted to receive our updated BSI Kitemark certification to BS EN 3 for the new range of fire extinguishers. It’s a significant milestone in the market development of this particular product. Jactone has a long history of working with the BSI and we look forward to future certification announcements.”
