Jactone issues new PAFSS fire suppression system model

19 April 2022

JACTONE HAS announced the launch of the latest in its range of PAFSS automatic fire suppression systems. Large enclosures can be safeguarded against fire thanks to the PAFSS indirect pre-engineered fixed fire suppression systems that use the clean agent extinguishant 3M Novec 1230 fire protection fluid.

As is the case with existing PAFSS automatic fire suppression systems, the new PAFSS indirect low pressure (ILP) systems are self-activating and require no external power for detection or operation.

PAFSS ILP systems protect large enclosures above 2 m3 and up to 12 m3 in volume, making them ideal for safeguarding unmanned or unsupervised items such as electrical cabinets and CNC machines.

Further, PAFSS ILP systems protect inside the enclosure and discharge at the heart of the fire, suppressing quickly and preventing the fire from spreading to neighbouring enclosures, equipment and the wider building. This can significantly reduce the risk of injury to personnel and losses caused by equipment downtime and operational disruption, while also safeguarding the business as a whole.

The benefits and features of the PAFSS ILP fire suppression systems are many and varied. Fast and automatic operation is coupled with the fact that, as stated, the systems use clean agent 3M Novec 1230 fire protection fluid. The UL-listed detection tube is highly reliable.

In their simplest format, these systems don’t require any power supply for operation. They can be fully integrated for operation and monitoring with fire detection and alarm equipment and are ‘on guard’ on a 24-7, 365 basis.
