Hochiki Europe brings new product array to The Fire Safety Event
23 April 2026
HOCHIKI EUROPE will be exhibiting at The Fire Safety Event 2026, which takes place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 28-30 April. As the Innovation Theatre sponsor and a returning exhibitor, the company will use this year’s show event to highlight new products, run live demonstrations and deliver three expert sessions across all three days.

Visitors at Stand E97 in Hall 4 will be able to see the company’s latest products and systems in action. The new FIREscape Nepto black range will be on display for the first time, alongside a live voice sounder demonstration and Hochiki’s water leak detection range. Stand E97 affords specifiers, installers and fire safety professionals a practical opportunity to see the products performing rather than simply being presented.
Martin Green, commercial training and support manager at Hochiki Europe, will deliver three sessions in the Innovation Theatre across the event:
*Tuesday 28 April: 3.30 pm-4.00 pm ‘Fire Detection System Compliance: A Building Owner’s Guide to EN 54’
*Wednesday 29 April: 1.45 pm-2.15 pm ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water: Reducing the Risk of Water Damage to UK Business’
*Thursday 30 April: 11.15 am-11.45 am ‘Navigating the Hazards: A Guide to Understanding Fire Safety in a Risky World’
The programme covers three of the most pressing areas facing fire safety professionals at present: system compliance, water damage risk and hazard navigation in increasingly complex built environments. All sessions are free to attend as part of The Fire Safety Events CPD seminar programme.
Multiple sectors
Martin Green informed Fire Safety Matters: “The education sessions I’m delivering at The Fire Safety Event this year cover topics that matter to a huge range of people not only working directly in the fire industry, but also across multiple sectors right now. The seminar format gives us the chance to go into deeper detail than we can in other settings and then continue those conversations face to face both on Stand E97 and out in the wider world.”
Shinsuke Kubo, managing director of Hochiki Europe, explained: “The Fire Safety Event is one of the most important dates in our calendar and has been for a number of years. What makes it valuable is the quality of the people who attend. Specifiers, installers, consultants and building owners all focused on the same goal: the betterment of fire safety.”
Kubo continued: “This year, we are bringing new products, live demonstrations and a full programme of talks, but what we value most is the time we have to spend with customers and industry peers. Understanding what they’re working through, what’s shaping the market right now and what they need from us are really important points of detail.”
In conclusion, Kubo observed: “We leave the NEC every year with a clearer picture of where the industry is heading. That results from the time spent face to face with the people who are navigating the same challenges every day. The fire safety sector is moving quickly and events like this one are where you feel that progress most directly.”
New design
This year, Hochiki Europe is also debuting a new exhibition stand designed and built by Quadrant2Design. The reusable and modular structure uses a lightweight aluminium frame, water-based inks and PVC-free graphics. It’s designed to last for upwards of 300 events across a 15-year lifespan and serves to reflect Hochiki Europe’s wider commitment to reducing its environmental impact across ongoing business operations.
Hochiki Europe invites all attendees at The Fire Safety Event to visit Stand E97 in Hall 4 and explore the full product range, witness the live system demonstrations and speak with members of the team.
The Fire Safety Event runs from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10.00 to 3.30 pm on the final day. Entry is free for all registered visitors. Access www.firesafetyevent.com for further details
