DVS expands fire market offer with Kentec Electronics KAD+ Programme partnership
07 April 2025
KENTEC ELECTRONICS (the manufacturer of life safety solutions) and electronic fire and security systems distributor DVS have further strengthened their working relationship as DVS becomes the latest member of the Kentec Authorised Distributors Plus (KAD+) Programme.

The partnership enables DVS to provide its customers with industry-leading fire safety solutions alongside its existing portfolio, including the highly regarded Taktis fire alarm panel and the K-System, the new wired addressable fire detection solution.
DVS commercial director Gavin Dunleavy stated: “This collaboration marks a significant step forward in DVS’ commitment to expanding its fire offer, ensuring customers have access to Best-in-Class, compliant and innovative fire detection technology. As a KAD+ Programme member, we don’t just supply the full Kentec product range. We also offer expert technical support and training. Our in-house team is working closely with Kentec to become specialists in the latter’s products and ensure a top-tier service.”
The highly respected KAD+ Programme comprises a global network of fire safety specialists and distributors. They’re recognised for their exceptional expertise in Kentec products and ability to provide advanced solutions for a diverse array of applications and building types.
Technical experts
Members of this elite group are distinguished by their use of the KAD+ Programme logo and can ensure that installers and end users have immediate access to the entire Kentec range thanks to expedited delivery schedules.
DVS’ technical experts have received comprehensive training from Kentec, equipping them with in-depth information regarding its entire product range, including the aforementioned Taktis fire alarm panel and the K-System wired addressable fire detection solution. This means life safety equipment installers and integrators and their end users will be able to receive reliable and prompt service and support from DVS, all underpinned by Kentec’s extensive knowledge and resources.
Welcoming DVS to the KAD+ Programme, Johnny Martin (business development manager at Kentec) commented: “DVS harbours a strong reputation for delivering top quality security and fire system solutions. As a KAD+ Programme partner, the business can now offer our fire panels backed by in-house technical support. It’s a perfect fit for the Kentec brand.”
