Apollo triumphs at Warehouse Transformation Awards 2025

Following on from a “transformative” 15-month journey, Apollo announced the official launch of the Distribution Centre back in January on a site which is a mere 200 metres from its head office in Havant.

In fact, this move has witnessed an increase in the company’s dispatch area, which has grown from 20,700 sq ft to over 40,000 sq ft, in turn doubling Apollo’s ability to process orders efficiently and cutting down on lead times. As such, customers receive the products they need when they need them.

Hard work and dedication

Ross Walker, head of the supply chain at Apollo, explained: “This success is testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Apollo who was involved in the project. It’s great to see us entering conversations as industry leaders in areas outside of what may be perceived our ‘norm’.”

Apollo’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability was central to this project. With the building boasting solar-panelled roofing and EV charging stations, Apollo is excited to be ‘leading the charge’ into a greener future for all.

The award is due recognition of all the hard work put in by members of staff and contractors alike who helped to bring this project to fruition.
