Fire Safety Event a big success for IFSM

16 April 2017

THE INSTITUTE of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) has reported back to its members that it’s presence at the Fire Safety Event was a big hit with delegates.

IFSM had an exhibition stand in a very prominent position at the event, which took place on 21-23 March at the NEC Birmingham. Over the three days it was inundated with visitors, enquiries and members who came up to say hello. Chairman Bob Docherty also delivered two educational seminars that were standing room only.

Dr Docherty was delighted with the response at the event, he said:  “I have to say that both sessions were overwhelmingly well attended, especially the second, which was on the second day and in the ‘graveyard shift’ after lunch. This was a fine and exciting opportunity for us to showcase ourselves as a leading professional body. We were grateful for the chance to contribute in the event and helped to make it a success.”

The next event that we will be at is Fire Safety Scotland on 3-4 May 2017 at the SEC Glasgow. IFSM will once again be present on stand FS30.
