QDOS delivers bespoke fire safety plans for riding school

28 February 2022

A FAMILY-run horse riding school based in Shaw, Oldham was recently in need of updated fire safety drawings. QDOS duly stepped in to deliver plans for Sol’s Ponies.

With the original plans being laminated drawings that had been subjected to all kinds of weather conditions, Sol’s Ponies needed a more resilient and easier to find drawing of the stables to assist in the evacuation of both people and ponies should there be a fire episode.

Damian Linley, managing director at QDOS, explained: “We adapted our usual design for a high-rise premises information plate to deliver a bespoke sign that allows first responders to see where the horses are and where to take them safely outside of normal hours. It was a task for the CAD team.”

QDOS is a BAFE-accredited outsourcing CAD company specializing in the production of fire alarm and fire safety-related building plans.
