Nicholas Bryan appointed innovation and consultant lead at Siemens

22 May 2026

SIEMENS BUILDING Products has further strengthened its fire safety-focused division with the appointment of Nicholas Bryan in the role of innovation and consultant lead.

Bryan moves across from the Siemens Utilities division where he worked for two years on system integration for Critical National Infrastructure with fire, security and building management systems integration being his remit.

Prior to that appointment, Bryan worked in the facilities management sector for ten years, including roles with some of the largest FM companies (ie Mitie and Sodexo) where he was closely involved with business development for a number of blue chip customers.

Bryan brings this understanding of system integration and the requirements of the facilities management sector to his new role at what is an exciting time for Siemens’ fire safety operation with the recent introduction of the new Cerberus and Sinteso Nova range. Cerberus and Sinteso Nova detectors are designed to transform traditional fire detection into proactive, smart and connected safety solutions through cloud connectivity.

Commenting on his new appointment, Bryan informed Fire Safety Matters: “I’m delighted to be joining the team and look forward to engaging with specifiers and consultants in demonstrating the potential our fire offer provides in the journey towards autonomous buildings.”

Further, Bryan stated: “Through my background, I understand the importance of integration so will also be focusing on that message and how Siemens as a business can help customers thanks to our extensive portfolio of products and systems.”
